| Comments: | We ate at your restaurant on July 16th. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The quaint old fashioned ambience was inviting and warm. The wine selection was tremendous and overwhelming with choices. The dinner on the other hand... not so good! The waitress was rude and short with us, the portions were extremely small. I do not recommend this as your choice of an eatery. I'm accustomed to eating at extremely well cultured Italian restaurants in the Chicago land area and this doesn't compare in the slightest way. I recommend the owners take a trip to Illinois and eat at Magiano's or Clara's (granddaughter of Mama Celeste) to obtain some concepts that are necessary to run a successful Italian restaurant. Stay away, youâ??ll be disappointed! |

Once upon a time I was a young dumb teenager working at a tiny little resturant in Grand Rapids. I worked there for a couple of years and did a great deal of growing up there. I joined the army and went off to play in a silly war. When I came home I realized Michigan was not home but the resturant was the same. I often miss the little resturant with the people there who seemed like an extended family. (disfunctional but family all the same). I married a soldier and moved arround alot with him finally ending up here in Texas with my two lovely daughters. I am now a school teacher holding a masters in education. My soldier went to war and came back a shadow. My girls are almost grown now and ready to enter the University of Texas where she will major in journalism. She will graduate with high academic honors this May. I wanted to take a moment to recognise the tiny little resturant and the owner of that resturant. Dear Luciano?s I wanted to thank you for your hospitality and your great food. Our group needed a place to accommodate 16 people (8 adults and 8 kids) for a special dinner. We were placed in the basement away from the crowds. The kids had room to move and the atmosphere (once you got through the hallway and into the banquet room) was charming. I cannot rave enough about the food, wine, and scotch selections. I became a big hero for suggesting Luciano?s. Everyone thought you?re place was just a pizzeria. None of us had pizza and all of us were astonished how good the food was. I know you serve great pizza, but you are selling yourself short by having a pizzeria sign on your building. You serve excellent Italian food! There are few places in Ludington that can accommodate 16+ people in Ludington and even fewer that have exceptional service, great food, at a good price.
